1. Bookings from the Airport Depot are always cheaper than the City Location. Why not get quotes from both locations, then compare. The # 59 Tram from Elizabeth St. in the City to Airport West is approx $5. Skybus from Southern Cross Station to the Airport is $25 Return. A Taxi or Uber is around $60.
2. We do have a very efficient after hours service and can arrange vehicles for customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But why not avoid the after hours fees if possible. If arriving early, why not have a coffee or breakfast at the airport and pick up your car after 8.30am weekdays or 9.00 weekends.
3. Wish to avoid after hours fees when returning? If flying out of Melbourne late, return your vehicle before our office closes or call reception to enquire about the free after hours “lock and drop box” options.
4. Hire and drop off at the same location and avoid the one way rental fees.For extended or monthly rentals, call or e-mail and ask one of our friendly reception staff about our special rent by-the-week or ongoing rental options.
5. All instant internet quotes are based on a daily, or 24hr rental period with a 2hr period of grace. So… pick up and drop off at the same time give or take 2hrs and avoid the extra days charge. Or…. why not give one of our friendly receptionists a call? They are much more flexible than the computer is.
